Lion Dance

On the 8th Day of Chinese New Year, which is said to be the auspicious day to be back to work,  we had a Lion Dance Session at the office to mark the first day of Work.

MaMa told Chloe how excited I am to see the Traditional Lion Dance. My purpose was to lure her to be as excited as I was so that she would attempt to join me to experience the Lion Dance.

Chloe never like Lion Dance, and she is totally afraid of it. Before she can reach the actual scene, she would be frightened off by just hearing the sound of the drums and cymbals. Papa attempted many times to bring her closer so that she can have a good look at it. Due to her first "EXTREMELY frightening" experience (thanks to Papa), she always keep a distance away from the Chinese Traditional Lion Costume/Display at the Shopping Mall. She would stay to scream if I ever get closer to the Display (@ Tangs, that's why I never get into Tangs during the CNY).

Anyway, before I left home, I thought I tried to ASK both girls if they would like to join me at the office for the Lion Dance Performance. I didn't expect a "YES: reply from them, that's why both of them were still in their pajamas.

Suprisingly, Chloe told MaMa that she wants to follow MaMa to work for the Lion Dance Performance. I was delighted to hear it as it is a good start to break her fear of the Chinese Cultural Lion Dance Performance.

They were both changed into white dresses and followed MaMa to Work. On the way to MaMa's workplace, MaMa was trying to find a way to introduce Lion Dance to Clarisse. First, Clarrise is two years younger and she has never approached to such extend of "Noise"/ Sound from the drums and cymbals. And this is what happened. In spite of Clarisse's younger age, Clarisse is nevertheless a more receptive? adventurous? daring? whichever words to describe her, what I wanted to say I don't' expect her to like the Performance and the Noise, but I don't expect her to scream an cry like Chloe.

Anyway, let's see what happened!

Chinese Traditional Lion Dance Performance at MaMa's Desk, on the 8th of Chinese New Year, 2012. It resembles a good start of work, to bring "ONG" (a.k.a Good Luck) at works.

Clarisse reacted calm, and she never loose sight of the Chinese Cultural Lion. Even though she did not show any excitement on her facial expression, she remained calm and a good girl for the whole performance.

Let's see How Chloe reacted?

Hahahahahahahaa.......
Sorry, Can't help it. I really find it very funny till now.
Dear Chloe , It is just a imitation Lion. MaMa already told you that they are not going to bite you or hurt you. Don't Cry!

No matter how many times MaMa ensures Chloe that the lion will not hurt her because MaMa will be there for her at all times, but still when I tried to get closer to the Lion Dance for the photo shooting.....It is needless for me to describe, please look the photo.

Well, I must agree and praise Chloe for her improvement. She can now keep 5ft away from the lion, and view the performance with LESS fear. After the event, She proudly showed the Lion Dance Video to Clarisse, to Novi, to Grandma, to her little friends. She admitted to everyone that she was afraid of the Lion Dance, but she said she would want to view the performance again next time. She added, PaPa or MaMa must HOLD her tight during the performance. Hahahahaha.....

Naughty Clarisse

I was told by Novi that Clarisse bit Chloe few days back.

Novi described the scenario to me. As Novi was feeding soup to Clarisse, Chloe interrupted them by squeezing herself in between Clarisse and Novi. Clarisse immediately lean towards and bit on Chloe's back.

*Sigh* Beware of Furious Baby!

--------------------------------------------------------

Darling Clarisse,

Don't be Naughty! You are not allowed to bite Jie Jie.
You have to love Jie Jie & Sayang her like she sayang you.

Love,
MaMa

Clarisse's New Progress

Have not been blogging lately...Well, can never leave out the excuse of "busy" + "lazy".
Of course, other than these two little "zees", I have some issues dealing with my love ONE and my EQ now is super-duper weak.

Anyway, just would like to update a little on Clarisse's New Development.

She is able to hum a melody and she knows some songs even though she can sing it. She loves the Barney Theme song "I Love You". She is able to sing " I love you" ...then da da da she goes.

She is learning how to count now.

Mama : One
Clarisse : Two
Mama : Three
Clarisse : Four
Mama : Five
Clarisse : Six
Mama : Seven
Clarisse : Six
Mama : Nine
Clarisse : Six

Yes, She stops at Six..... I didn't insist her to count from ONE because Chloe did not count from ONE too.

Clarisse is able to say three syllable words like "Ei Ya Ei Ya OO", "PAPA YA", "ba NANA" , "butterFLY". If you notice the capital and small letters, this is to indicate how Clarisse put an accent on those CAPITAL WORDS. Hmm.... ba (soft) NANA (loud)...something like that. Get it? :P

Clarisse likes to follow her Jie Jie, I won't call Clarisse a copycat but she is learning from Jie Jie. Well, I must say there are some good habits about Chloe that I really like Clarisse to pick up. Unfortunately, I realize that Clarisse is picking more of her bad habits like crying for every single things. :P

Clarisse is a more independent girl as compared to Chloe. At this age, Clarisse likes to eat on her own, she insists to wear her shoes on her own (even though she still can't), she likes to walk on her own, she knows what she likes and what she dislikes, she will inform MaMa if she needs the toilet etc etc.

Both Chloe and Clarisse are totally different. They progress differently, but I am sure they will learn from each other eventually.

It is amazing to be a MaMa of my two darlings to see them to grow in their very own special way. I am so fortunate to have such sunshines to be with me even though my love ONE is drifting away from me day by day. God is fair. I am blessed. God compensates my sorrow with my two lovely sweetie pie. :P

A Taboo to Praise....

I don't know why whenever I start praising my girls, bad luck will fall on me - as in my girls will become naughty "angels".

I have not been complaining about Chloe not sleeping in the night like previously. However, It doesn't mean that she goes to bed early everyday. Whenever MaMa or PaPa is around, she will take her chance and refuse to go to bed with her sister. Without us around, Kakak has the magical power to send Chloe to bed together with her sister.

Clarisse has a built-in alarm clock in her body, when it's time to sleep, it means BEDTIME. Nothing is going to stop her. Clarisse sleeps at between 9 to 10pm latest, while the other naughty girl can stay up till midnight when PaPa and MaMa are around.

I can't force her to bed when Clarisse is sound asleep in the room. This naughty little Chloe would make a lot of noise and move about a lot in the room which will wake my deary Clarisse up too. In the end, MaMa will have to stay awake till late because MaMa has problem sending these two girls into their dreamland. When I mean late, it is really really late...1am!!!!! These two girls will start to chat, walk about (IN THE DARK!!!), ask for the loo, ask for milk, ask for bedtime story etc etc etc. These are still acceptable when they don't cry, because I can put myself into the half-asleep mode. When they starts crying, *SIGH*........

Last night, Chloe and Clarisse slept at 9.30pm as PaPa and MaMa were home late. After a shower, PaPa went out for a drink until 1am (could be even later since I was already asleep), while MaMa enjoyed being alone in the TV area with the "magical" remote control until 12.30midnight.

At about 4.30am, MaMa heard Clarisse crying and she asked for the loo (by farting and said "ng ng"). After we came out from the toilet, Clarisse was fully awake. Of course, she started to make some funny sounds which obviously woke up her Jie Jie who was sleeping just less than an inch away from her. So, both of them woke up at 4.30am and stayed up until 6am. Clarisse was Crying Crying Crying... even after her milk and TLC Patting on her back. Crying is contagious among babies/kids, Chloe also started to cry and asked for MaMa. Argghhh..... At around...before 6am, I decided to ignore them and go back to sleep. I think both of them realized that MaMa was asleep so these two naughty girls also decided to put away their tantrum and back to their dreamland.

Clarisse can sing & dance

Clarisse loves music. Once the music played, she would move her body and start mumbling, trying to sing.

I taught Clarisse to sing "EI-A-EI-A-O" last week. She is such a good learner, she started with "EI-A"last week. Whenever, I tried to sing "EI-A-EI-A-O", Clarisse tried to observe my mouth and tried to intimate. Then, Clarisse improved by giving Mama "EI-A" "EI-A" without "O". Yesterday, Clarisse actually sang "EI-A" "Ei-A" "O". MaMa loves her "O". How I wish I could take a photo of her while she is singing "O", SO SO SO CUTE!!!!! She is such a sweetie pie.

Yesterday was Mah Mah (MIL)'s Birthday. Chloe sang Happy Birthday Song to Mah Mah, and Clarisse followed her Jie Jie by singing in her own melody and clap along with Jie Jie Chloe's Happy Birthday Song. We actually heard Clarisse trying to mumble "Happy Birthday", Mah Mah was overjoyed, Mah Mah's heart was totally melted by Clarisse's warm and loving kiss - "Muaz". Mah Mah did not want an extravagant celebration, so we just had a very simple Vegetarian Dinner at our regular neighborhood restaurant.

MaMa believe a good celebration does not need to be POSH. Most importantly our family can have a good time together even though it is only a simple dinner.

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MI. THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH A SUPPORTIVE AND UNDERSTANDING MIL TO ME "

Clarisse with Grandma

This photo was taken weeks ago. I have not been playing with my camera or iphone and only two days ago I saw my old DSLR lying in the cupboard which my brother supposed to bring to London. *sigh* Maybe the DLSR is not NEW enough for him to bring to London to show off. :P

Both girls are well. Chloe is not attending school meanwhile. Since it is another 2 weeks to School Holidays, I will just have Chloe at home playing with Clarisse and have a closer sister bonding time. :)

Poor Baby Clarisse

Due to the undesirable incidents, MaMa was forced to neglect Baby Clarisse for Total of more than 72 hours. I did went home to take a shower and packed clothing and food for Chloe daily, but the time that I reached was always co-incidently her sleeping hours too. I was only able to go home for a short period of time when PaPa or Grandma was available to stay in the hospital to take my shift.

Anyway, I missed Clarisse heaps. MaMa was such a crying baby. Whenever I talked about Baby Clarisse in the hospital, MaMa just can't help to tear. Silly MaMa. What about when MaMa is away for holiday??? Cry also? I guess, the situation weaken my emotion further, that's why I sobbed easily. :P Lousy MaMa.

What makes everything worse was Novi was sick too!!! I was so terrified as Dr. Adrian told me Chloe was tested H1N1 positive. I didn't want to take any risk, but to send her to the Clinic immediately. Dr. Loo, General Practise (He is a good doctor and he is been around in the area for a good 20 years or so, we always look for him for any illness), refused to carry out the Influenza test because he said Novi did not have any symptom and there is no news on the epidermic. He said he can carry out the test and charge anyone if he wanted to, but he said definitely there will be a result showing Influenza A (many subtypes e.g. H1N1, H2N2 etc etc) positive in the public. So, he said I should just calm down and treat it as Viral Infection since there is no diarrhea, no pain, no cough, no vomiting, fever below 38 deg C. He showed me her throat which was obviously inflamed and he prescribed antibiotic and paracetamol to Novi.

I was instantly relief for a while. BUT her fever comes and forth even until this morning. I insisted to bring her to the clinic again, and weird enough, when I said that her fever disappeared. She told my mum's maids that her body was feeling weak! She has been sleeping for days in the room. Call me ruthless employer, I told her that she cannot sleep anymore. She has to move about and start on the easy chores like folding clothes and light ironing. The more she sleeps, the more dizzy and LAZY she would be. Of course, I told her not to take care of my babies. I don't want any chances to pass the infection to my babies again! She is a little stubborn on taking medicines and water. My mum has to actually gave her a look to make her take her medicines. We couldn't force her to drink water, but we had reiteratively advised her to consume more fluid. It is all up to her. Anyway, she shed some weights too, it is obvious that she was unwell.

Back to Baby Clarisse. Poor Darling! She was sick since two weeks ago, and last night she had a little fever at about 38 deg C. MaMa gave her progesic and her fever came down after an hour. I am at work now, I called every 2 - 3 hourly to check on her, all the maids told me that she is fine. I hope they are accurate!

Baby Clarisse was disturbed with her blocked nose two weeks ago, and no improvement has been seen even though Nasal Spray & Oxy-Spray have been given as per prescribed. I should send her to the Clinic again, I definitely do not want another episode (choy choy choy~~~!!!) of undesirable incident.

Dear Babies, MaMa is coming home soon...

C&C's Swimming Time

My bundle of joys

Before this long Merdeka Raya Holiday started, MaMa was having all sorts of ideas how to spend time with my princesses. Such as bring them out for swim, bring them to the park in the morning, make some nice and cute bentos for Chloe, organize a small gathering to ask hubby and my friends over for dinner etc etc... But tomorrow is the last day of holiday, other than simple baking, MaMa did not do any of those that I have just mentioned. *sigh* Because Chloe was sick since Sunday onwards. Out of no where, she had the worrisome high fever again. THIS IS THE DUNNO HOW MANY TIMES THAT SHE IS SICK SINCE SHE ATTENDED SCHOOL. Gosh.. If it is not cough, then conjunctivitis, viral fever or viral infection....arghh....Dr. Patrick said this is called the Nursery Syndrome. Chloe is generally weaker than other children, furthermore she is very picky on her food especially when I am not around. It means she is not taking in much of those nutritious food. Not much of meat, poultry or fish. Mainly Vege! *sigh* Not a balance diet. Since she was sick, we didn't give her much of cheese and yogurt because they are cold. Even fruits, now that I start thinking about it. What is wrong with me???!!! What have I been doing? How come I didn't watch out on my girls' nutrients intake. Argghh...This is not called nursery syndrome, THIS IS CALLED THE LAZY MAMA's Syndrome. I am going to the grocers tomorrow and buy more fruits and fish back for Chloe!!!

Anyway, Ya... She had this fever for more than 3 days. She had just recovered today, and a light feverish appeared after a park walk in the evening. Since it was just 38deg C, it didn't alarm me that much as compared to 40+ deg C. She was burning hot and she couldn't breathe properly due to her blocked nose. Of course, when our girls can't sleep well, do expect to see Panda PaPa and MaMa walking around the house again. Anyway, even though we did not do much during this Merdeka Raya Holiday, we had a close bond with our princesses. We played toys together. We sent them to sleep. We prepared milk for them. MaMa bathed them. MaMa did a little of reading but not much because we spent more time to comfort our big baby Chloe who was ill.

We don't need anything and extravagant activities, what Papa and Mama need is to have our girls all by our side to spend some good quality time at home. MaMa considered it as a good holiday. :P My bundle of joys!

I didn't do this! Novi did this hair style. Chloe called Clarisse "ALIEN" upon seeing her new hairstyle. Haha.... It was not NICE but it was definitely cute enough to give us a happy laugh. Eeeeewwwww......My Cutie Pie. MaMa loves you so much. Muaks. Oh... Baby Clarisse likes to shout for "MaMa" "MaMa" "MaMa" and she was so persistent that I had to stop whatever that I was doing (even when I was having dinner) and go to her and talk to her.

My Baby was playing with my iphone. She just loves taking photos of herself. :p
*sigh* during this holiday, MaMa heard a lot of her crying, and they are not entertaining at all. She is always seeking for our full attention, and she wants us to be with her ALL THE TIME. I didn't punish her for her over-demanding cries simply because she was sick and it was heart-breaking enough for me to see my girl sick, how can I even punish her or even yell at her. :(

A fulfilling non-working Saturday

Thanks to boss who declared Saturday a day off for all of us , so I could spend a good Saturday with my girls.

Our day started off by sending Jie Jie Chloe to Gymbo Class at 9.30am while Papa, Mama & Clarisse went Chawan to have breakfast. Even though we did not have satisfying meal, Baby Clarisse was happy enough to have her Roti Bakar Kosong. I regretted so much because I found there is a piece which is moldy. Argghhh~~!!  Ya, how can anyone serve moldy bread. Even though it was only a small spot, it is still not acceptable to serve moldy bread to your customer. Sorry... Can't stop complaining since I started on the moldy bread issue. The Roti Jala was no good, the Nasi Lemak's rice was SOGGY and it was COLD. *sigh* DELETE "Even though we did not ..... Roti Bakar Kosong" and I should replace it with "WE DID NOT HAVE A GOOD BREAKFAST AND BABY CLARISSE WAS SERVED WITH MOLDY BREAD." But I was quite sure the piece of bread that I gave Clarisse was fine, and she is fine NOW!

Even though it was a lousy breakfast, we were still very happy because we were able to spend a good time together during breakfast (minus the meal). Baby Clarisse was talking (babbling) a lot and she was very cheery which made our day!

After breakfast, Mama sent Baby Clarisse for Gymbo Class while PaPa shopped around. PaPa picked all of us up at 11.30am, and we left Gymbo for Grocery Shopping.

We arrived home on time for Chloe & Clarisse's Lunch. After lunch, Novi helped to clean them up and sent them for afternoon nap. While our girls were having their naps, Papa and Mama went for an hour gym session.

We returned home by 3pm, and took a clean shower. After shower, we played with our girls at their play zone. I told Chloe that I will bring her for a swim but we did not have much time to go to Desa, so Mama prepared the inflated little pool and let them have a short dip. They were having so much fun which I will try to post a video if I can (otherwise photos) in my next post.

:P Mama also managed to book for a facial appointment for Papa & Mama @ 6.30pm. While Clarisse and Chloe were having their dinner, Papa and Mama left home for facial.

It was even more fulfilling for PaPa because Papa ended his day with a FUN DRINKING SESSION with his buddy while Mama stayed home had my most precious moments with my two girls in our bedroom sleeping soundly and safely. :)

Baby Clarisse & Chloe

I have been updating my Baking Projects so often and nothing about my princesses so far.

Today is the day that I should write something about them.

Let's talk about Baby Clarisse first.
*sigh* My poor little sweetie pie must be TOO SWEET, she got bitten by mosquitoeS again. I really hate these ruthless mosquitoes. They bit her FACE and her EYE LIDS all the times! All these bites become swollen and reddish after a while. Arghhh... MaMa couldn't sleep well. I kept on rubbing her swelling eye lids, cheeks and forehead, hoping that it will reduce the swell a little, which it did *just a little*. *sigh* This is the second severe face biting session of the month. It is not just A BITE, they always attack my Baby more than 4 - 6 bites, ON HER FACE!!!! It is such a pain for MaMa to see my daughter's blood sucked by these awful mosquitoes!!!!!! Anyway, I rubbed on her swelling parts for more than an hour last night, and this morning the first thing that I did when I opened my eyes was start applying the Calendula Cream and kept on rubbing on the swelling face. Still a little swollen and reddish.

When I got back to work today, the first thing that I did was to google how to get rid of the swelling by mosquitoes bite. There are actually some remedies recommended like using Banana Skin to rub on to the swelling part or apply baking soda mixed with water. I already told my maid to try, and I shall go home to have a look at the results.

Furthermore, tomorrow is Clarisse's 1st Birthday Party. I want to try to get rid/reduce the swelling and redness so badly!! I want my Clarisse to be the PRETTY BIRTHDAY GIRL. Sad!!

Other than the mosquitoes attacks. Baby Clarisse is growing really fast. She knows how to respond to our conversation, and she is learning more and more words. From her responses and reactions, it is very obvious that she understands what is going on around her. Good girl!

Walking part....errr...not yet. But she can move around herself by crawling or walking with support of the tables or stagnant heavy objects. She loves the walker. I know some said the walker will discourage her from walking, but she loves it. She moves herself around FAST with her walker, and she is able to reach her *destination* swiftly **ZOOOM**! It's ok. I am not sure how the walker will slow down her walking milestone, meanwhile I will just let her enjoy her *Ferrari*. Anyway, it won't be long. Once she knows how to walk on her own, She will never remember her "Ferrari" Walker (*Just like Chloe Jie Jie*).

Clarisse is eating more variety of food now. Yogurt, Pear, Apple, Grapes, Cherry, Cakes, Muffin, Buns, Fish Porridge etc etc... I admit I am a little slow in introducing new food to my babies, some can actually take rice at Clarisse's age. Hehe...It is ok, she will get to eat whatever she wants when she grows up. No hurry. I need to make sure if she is allergic to any food. So far, fish and eggs are fine so I guess she is fine with most food. Need to be a little more careful and patience. Plus, she has two TEETH so far, can't chew properly yet! I need to make sure her food is soft enough for her to eat.

Let's talk about Chloe.

Lately, Chloe always wet the bed in the nights. Almost twice a week for consecutively 3 weeks already. I didn't scold her. I just asked her what happened, why didn't she wake me up to bring her to the toilet. She always cried when she finds out that she wet her bed. Maybe she was trying to escape from my scolding so playing some acts to distract me. *shrug* What I need to do is to keep on telling her that she should wake MaMa up to bring Chloe to the toilet and not to wet the bed again. I hope by repeating my words can help. OR....ANY ADVISE! I really need it? I don't think I want to put her back to diapers.

Other than that, she has been a very good girl and cheery too. I think she really enjoys schooling, and she loves to talk to MaMa on what to bring to school for her Snack Time. This is my favourite part too. Hopefully, when Clarisse joins Chloe to school, she will be looking forwards to school and MaMa's Bento filled with LOVE! Kakakaka....I learned this words from some bloggers *SHIOK SENDIRI*!

Now, Papa's turn.

Papa put a little effort in bonding with our girls. Doubtless, my girls prefer Papa over Mama now! MaMa is always acting the Fierce MaMa and Papa, as always, acting the Loving and Understanding Papa. Why so unfair? How I wish I can be the Understanding one. Papa refused to take my role, and I have no choice to sacrifice myself to play the evil MaMa.

Time to go home now!

Sweet Dough Bun Again ... Asian Style ...

This time I used another recipe for my Sweet Dough Bun and it turns out Soft, Fluffy and Yummy too. Everyone in the family loves it. These buns did not go into the bin, but into everyone's mouth. :P

Sausage Buns in pleats and Mini Sausage Buns in Roll topped with Black Sesame

Plain Sweet Buns, Egg washed and topped with Black Sesame

Tick Tock Tick Tock... 15 mins on 150 Deg C

Tick Tock Tick Tock ... 10 mins @ 150 Deg C

Nicely Brown

Mini Sausage Buns

Sausage Buns

My girls are enjoying their buns

Clarisse says : Finger Licking Good. MMMummm MMMummm...

Chloe says : Mama, Chloe's Sausage Bun. Can I have more please.

Ingredient :-
500 grams High Protein Flour
14g Instant Yeast
1 tsp Salt
75grams of Sugar
2 tsp Condensed Milk
1 Egg
50 grams Butter
50 grams Shortening
230ml Cold Water
** Hopefully, I didn't miss out anything, will double check again **

Procedures:-
1. Mix all the Dry Ingredient in a bowl. Flour, Yeast, Salt, Sugar
2. Add in the Condensed Milk & Egg. Mix Well with hand
3. Add in Butter & Shortening. Mix Well with hand
4. Place the mixed ingredient in the Standing Mixer, with hook attachment slowly add in the water and knead at low speed for 1 minutes
5. Continue to knead at medium speed for 10 minutes
6. Let it proof for 30 mins
7. After 30 minutes, Stretch the dough and fold over and let it proof for 15 - 20 minutes
8. Then, Stretch the dough again and fold over and let it proof for another 5 - 10 minutes
9. Divide dough in your desire size and form them into a ball. I used 30 grams for the small sausage bun and 60grams for the bigger bun.
10. Rolled these doughs flat and fold them over and let it proof for 5 mins
11. Shape the dough according to your liking, pleats, rolls, balls etc etc.
12. let it proof for 30 minutes
13. Egg wash them
14. Place into the Preheat Oven for 10 - 15 mins @ 150 Deg C, since it is short baking time, just watch it. As long as it turns brownish, you can take it out from the oven to cool.

These buns turn out quite good. I quickly tasted it while it is hot, and the texture was soft and fluffy. Unexpectedly, they are all still very soft when they are already cool, and taste even better when it is cool.

Love it. Will definitely use this recipe for other fillings like Tuna, Sardine etc...

The whole process took me 3 hours. From measuring ingredient to mixing the ingredient. From waiting for 1st proof till the last proof. From shaping the dough to the final touch of egg wash. Lastly baking. It is not difficult, the tougher part to me is shaping them. Most of the times are waiting for these dough to proof. Great work & Great result.

"Pah Pah" Clarisse says..

"Pah Pah" Clarisse said to Mama while raising her both hands up towards me.

"Ma Ma" Clarisse called Mama while her both hands were still up

Oh, Clarisse was asking Mama to carry/hold her. Pou Pou she meant!

My girl is so cute.

Clarisse is turning one end of this month. Time really flies and it seems like Clarisse just came to join the family yesterday. She is not walking yet but she is TRYING, she can actually push herself up into a standing position without any object support. She pushed against the floor and lifted her buttock up and there she stands right in front of Mama. Clarisse tried to walked towards Mama, but she tumbled after 3 steps forwards. GOOD JOB.

Poor Clarisse is infected with the Viral conjunctivitis from Jie Jie Chloe (which we believed Chloe might got it from "school"). Whenever Mama try to apply the eye drops for Clarisse, Clarisse cried vigorously. She became really angry and cried her lung out, and this is making Mama cried too. According to the doctor and some information obtained from the website, these eyes drop will cause the stinging feelings which might be uncomfortable to the eyes.

Chloe is recovering from the viral but it is just the beginning for Clarisse. Looking at the corner of Clarisse' both eyes which are redden, and those green-yellowish discharges sticking up her eye lids are as painful as knife stabbing at Mama's heart.

Baby, get well soon. Please bear with Mama, these eye drops are making you uncomfortable but it will helps you heal faster.

A magical kisses - Muakzzz

It was a gloomy friday morning. Mama tucked myself in my comfortable bed; opened my eyes reluctantly. Fortunately, it was a pleasant sight as I opened my eyes, and I don't mind to sacrifice the comfort of my bed,  but to enjoy the moments of my two girls moving about on our bed; chatting away with their baby languages.

"Good Morning, Chloe. Come and give Mama a Kiss." Mama requested softly while yawning and stretching my arms.

Chloe gazed at Mama's direction, trying to grasp what Mama said to her with her half-concious mind. In about half a minute later, she crawled towards Mama, and then Chloe gave Mama a Great Big MUAKZZ with a Great Big Heart. These lovely gestures instantly melt my heart, and I thought nothing is more rewarding than a kiss and a hug from my Chloe at this moment.

Mama then turned to Baby Clarisse and greeted her with a cuddle, "Baby, Good Morning."

"Clarisse, come! Give Mama a kiss too." I was about to touch her face with my lips, and Clarisse moved her head towards my right cheek.

"Muaks" I felt & I heard. Gosh... I was totally awake! It was a kiss from Clarisse. A kiss!!!!!

I immediately burst out in tremendous joys , " Papa! Papa! Clarisse kissed Mama!"

"Clarisse, give Mama a Kiss again!" We always like to confirm it again by asking them to repeat their NEW FOUND SKILL.

"Muaks," Clarisse placed her beautiful lips against Mama's cheek and kissed Mama with a sound just like her Jie Jie Chloe.

My children give me such sense of blissfulness and boundless contentment that I can't ask for anything more in my life. Love that brings so much happiness within a family.... Let LOVE continues in our family forever and ever, LOVE that never end.

"Nah"

"Nah"  is a colloquial expression used in our family when we hand/pass something to another person. For instance, when I passed Papa his Mobile Phone, it always comes with a spontaneous "Nah" expression. We are doing this so often that, and naturally our children picked up the same colloquial expressions that we use in our everyday life.

It didn't appear a big deal to us when Chloe uses "Nah" because it is "Normal" especially when she says it everyday just like us. But, when it comes to Clarisse, it just took us by surprise.

Last night, Baby Clarisse and Chloe were playing with some musical instruments with Papa & Mama at the Play area.

Papa : Clarisse, give Papa the Drumsticks

Clarisse : Nah (and she handed the drumsticks to Papa.)

We thought we heard it wrongly. Papa returned the drumsticks to Clarisse and again....

Papa : Clarisse, give Papa the Drumsticks.

Clarisse : (She handed the drumsticks to Papa again...then..) Nah

It was so cute & amusing too.

Most probably teething

As I mentioned yesterday, Baby Clarisse had a slight fever in the afternoon (about 3.30pm). I told Novi to give her 2.5ml of Uphamol to control the high temperature. Chloe has the tendency of going up till 40 deg and I don't want the same happen to Clarisse. Therefore, I instructed Novi to measure her temperature using the thermometer, it was 36.3 deg C (YES, the FAULTY Thermometer, It is 2 degree C below) which means Baby Clarisse's temperature is approx 38.3 deg C, slightly at the high side.

I called home again at about 5pm, and I heard Chloe and Clarisse screaming away in the background while I was on the conversation with Novi. Novi told me that Clarisse's fever had subsided. Like my brother said to me "Are you sure your baby is sick? She is still so active, and playing, and screaming."

It could be just TEETHING - Crying Nights and Fever.... Yeah...New Teeth coming, Can introduce more food to her soon. :)

Is Clarisse teething? Or Just Notti?

Papa & Mama got home late last night at about 11.30pm. Upon our return, we heard Baby Clarisse crying vigorously in the family area. At this hour, Baby Clarisse & Chloe are usually soundly asleep. We were both astounded by her loud cries, and we quickly rushed to the family area to check her out. Accordingly to Novi that she had fed Baby Clarisse milk again (usually the last feed is 9pm before sleep), but it did not stop her from crying. Novi carried her around and tried to distract her with almost everything, but it did not work as well.

Mama quickly went for a shower, and then came out to take over Baby Clarrise from Novi. It took me by surprise that she didn't want to come to Mama. Baby Clarisse usually prefers Mama over anyone, but last night Baby Clarisse refused to come to Mama. Baby Clarisse looked very upset and agitated whenever Mama try to hold her. In the end, I told Novi to go to bed and insisted to calm down Clarisse myself.

Again, Mama tried to distract Baby Clarisse with EVERYTHING but it did not work just like before. In the end, we had to resort to Barney Series again (sigh, together with Chloe - She was awaken by Clarisse's loud cry.) Anyway, initially Baby Clarisse was calmed by watching the Barney. Out of sudden, Baby Clarisse started to cry again even with BARNEY dancing in her favorite songs - the wheels on the bus. She cried and dozed off, wake up and cried, cried and dozed off again, then woke up and cried again, until......about 3am in the morning.

No matter how we tried to cuddle her, hug her, kiss her, sing to her, give her all her favorite toys, nothings seems to soothe her. We were suspecting it could be due to teething which is making her uncomfortable, and today she is having a slight fever. :( Hopefully, it is just a TEETHING series. *sigh*

11th Month old Baby Clarisse

Oh dear, My Baby Clarisse is turning One in a month's time. Papa said he wants to look for a place to hold a 1st Birthday Party for Clarisse but yet to hear about it. Mama can't rely on Papa. Mama is going to do it myself, otherwise it will never happen or it will be a LAST MINUTE thing.

Baby Clarisse is learning how to walk. Well, she still can't walk yet, but I know she is trying. She likes to let go of her grip when she feels confident. However, it will never last for more than 1 minute. She would wobbles and falls, and then she will try again.

Up till now, Baby Clarisse has two teeth only. Still no sign of new teeth. Well, that's fine because she is eating well. So far, I am serving her a few variety of porridge with no SALT no SUGAR no SOYA
SAUCE no AJINAMOTO

This is the list of what Baby Clarisse eating at this age:-
- ABC (Carrot, Potato, Onion, Skinless Chicken Breast) Porridge
- Cauliflower Porridge
- Broccoli Porridge
- Pumpkin Porridge
- Wolfberries, Dates and Lily Bulb Porridge
- Spinach and Ikan Bilis Porridge
- Tofu Porridge
- Lean Pork Porridge
- Fish Porridge with Ginger
- Beetroot Porridge (but usually she won't eat it, she doesn't like the COLOUR)
- Corn & Carrot Porridge
- Biscuits that are easily dissolve with Saliva/Liquid
- Bread
- Cheese
- Yogurt
- Banana Mash
- Dragonfruit Mash
- Apple Mash

Gosh...I just realised that I didn't introduce enough fruit to Baby Clarisse. Bad Mama!! Mama shall look into Baby Clarisse's daily meal plan carefully. But, I will start a proper plan after she is totally recovered from her flu, as she is still coughing. Mama doesn't want to worsen the cough. Better keep everything simple until she is well. Anyway, I know she is recovering very very soon.
