Soil's Annual Dinner

Cs's first appearance in the Soil's Annual Dinner @ One World Hotel
26th January 2013

Cs behaved well and most importantly they had heaps of fun running up and down the stage while PaPa is drawing lots. Eventually, the girls also got the chance to "play" draw lots :p.

The Magic show was entertaining and the band was amazing.
The delicious spaghetti and sweet Orange drinks for the girls. Yumm~ Mmm~

A joyful night out for the girls.

Let's go for a Jog

It was not a complicated task to wake the girls up. Upon hearing the word "Titiwangsa", the girls sprang off their bed and leaped across 3 single king mattresses, and zoomed they went out of the room to have their milk (in the bottle, yes Big C is still using her bottle for her milk, LOL).
Here we are, 6.45am, getting ready to go.

This photo is edited using the PhotoWonder App in the iphone. The actual scene was still quite dark. The girls are ready for a jog! *No Bicycles*

Jog! Jog! Jog! Run! Run! Run!
"MaMa~~, why are you running? I don't wan to run, I will fall" Cs said.

In the Playground
Up! Up! Up! Up we go!

The sisters are crossing the Bridge

Fun in the Playground.

We jogged and walked for about 30 minutes, PaPa led us to a short cut (sigh, so lazy!). Anyway, short cut is not a bad idea after all, because these girls were already complaining and noising about getting into the playground. We spent about 30 minutes in the playground, and took a 10 minutes walk from the playground to the car.

Curtsy

I really love Ms. Toh, Cs' Ballet Teacher!  She is a mother herself, that's why she truly understand how we parents want to know what 's happening in the class. She always let the curtain opened out and left a clear view for anxious parents to see the whole 45 minutes progress of the class.  She even arranged a curtsy session at the end of the class with the door opened, little ballerinas learn to curtsy facing the parents. Lovely!

Happy Ballerinas & Happy Parents.

Horray to Ms. Toh!

Cycling @ Titiwangsa Lake Park

Cycling in the park is not exactly a "New Activity" to my princesses, just VERY rare occasion. It's maybe their 2nd of 3rd times years in the park with PaPa & MaMa. Not so many yearS though since Little C is only 2. Hahahaha..2 or 3 times with PaPa & MaMa, but quite a number of times with Grandma & Ah-Gong for a horse-carriage ride offered in the Park.

I intend to be in the Park at 7am, latest by 7.30am. We got up at 7am, While Novi was getting the girls ready, MaMa was freshening up for an exciting morning. Unexpectedly, my plan didn't come up the way it was. At 7.30am, the princesses were still lying comfortably on the sofa with their milk bottles while watching Astro 618. *sigh* In the end, we left home just right before the clock struck 8. The park is less than 2 minutes drive away from home, so we managed to hit the park right at 8am.

The girls cycling away happily.

With our previous experience (even though limited), the bicycle ride will not last long. Therefore, we remained in close proximity to our car. As predicted, their cycling duration lasted for about 20 minutes for a 200meter distance (I made up the figure, trying to imply a SHORT distance). As along the cycling journey, they stopped and talked, then cycled. Stopped and complained again, then cycled. Stopped and commented about the activities in the park, then cycled. Especially Little C, we were trying to guide her how to paddle. No doubt that her bicycle in moving and she could steer the bicycle perfectly. Guess what? Little C is using ONLY her right pedal to move the bicycle. Hmm... I do not know how should I put in in words, imagine, once your right pedal reaches low, then she winds it up to the top and pedal again with the force of right leg ONLY. It is not in a circular motion pedaling style. Get it? If I get the chance to video it, I will show you how. It's amusing, and frustrating at the same time especially when we tried to tell her to pedal in the circular motion and she refused to listen. Again, imagine, you have to bend down almost 90 degree while guiding this little girl and yet she refused to listen to you. Arrgghhh..... OUCH! My back!

After PaPa sent the bicycle back to the car, we adjourned to the Playground in the park. I didn't take any photos of the park, maybe next time. There is a sizable playground in the Park, and it is always filled with multiracial families. It is a good park, it's child-friendly, safe and FREE. Yes, I paid RM50.00/per child to enter an indoor playground in the mall. Hmm...maybe I should take more pictures and share it here. Many activities take place in the park before dawn right till sunset. The park also offers Horse-Carriage ride, sampan on the lake with a minimal charge. Again, I should share more photos in my next outing in the Park again.

Don't be surprised, it is also quite happening in the park in the midnight with a completely different crowd -  we call them "Mat Rempit" if I am not wrong. These owls usually show off their motorcycling stunts, roved wildly in the park. PaPa sometimes called them "Brainless Superman". With due respect, some dangerous stunts were quite terrifying, it might caused ones' life. Many love birds in the night, romancing in the dark (which supposingly against some religions, which I do not want to elaborate further). *wink* *wink*

The amazing thing about this park is that it will turn into total tranquility and peace at dawn even after a rowdy night (usually Friday & Saturday).

My next target - a picnic in the Park, but I will make sure we arrive before 7am. It gets very hot when the sun rises high up in the sky, scorching sunlight beaming on us, it's definitely not so fun!

Happy Day on a Special Friday @ The Curve

It was a "Happy" (a.k.a Not so busy) Friday, so MaMa decided to pick up Big & Little C from school for a special LUNCH - McDonald's. I may seem strict on my princesses' diet, but it doesn't mean that I am inflexible. I DO offer my princesses french fries, nuggets, burgers and soft drinks occasionally. So, It was truly one of their happy days. They get to have french fries and burgers for their lunch PLUS they get to enjoy themselves in the small playground set in the mall. That was not all, Little C insisted to take a ride on the motorized animals. We have seen these motorized animals in the mall years back, but Big C was terrified each time we offered her a ride, at then Clarisse was too young to take the ride.

Little C immediately hopped onto a Blue elephant, seated still while waiting for her JieJie to pick her animals. Big C was a little apprehensive initially if she should also take a ride, when Little C hurried Big C impatiently "JieJie, Faster!" Big C had no choice and hopped onto a colourful creature? Bear? Not sure. Hahaha...

While Little C was happily steering away, Big C was rather nervous when the animal started to move. At first, Big C was lost and didn't know how to maneuver the animal. As Big C saw Little C's elephant moving towards her and said "JieJie, I chase you!". Big C got so excited all of a sudden. Yeah, I don't understand why children enjoy to be "chased" so much. The word "chase" heat up Big C, and she gained momentum on how to steer the motorized animal around. Then and there, Big C realized that it was not so frightening at all and she carried on the "chasing" game Little C.

What a fun day for my princesses. Thank you MaMa!

Online Shopping Fanatic

The SuperB Bodysuit @ RM 29.00
Elephant Bodysuit @ RM 38.00

Minnie Mouse Tutu Dress & Hairband @ RM 89.00

Snow White Tutu Dress & Hairband @ RM 89.00

Dress @ RM 68.00

Cardigan, Top & Jeans Set @ RM 79.00

Leopard Cardigan @ RM 49.00

This is my first batch of online shopping in 2013. I had two online shopping experience before which the actual products were way below under my expectation. I know it's unfair to set a rather high expectation for such a price that I am paying. *sigh* online shopping is really not my cup of tea. They will never look like what I have picked.

For this purchase, I was a little disappointed when I opened up the parcel. They  looked MUCH better in the picture than the actual products. However, looking at the price that I am paying, I guess this is it! :( For this purchase, I would say, at least the Minnie Mouse & Snow White Tutu Dress is exactly as pictures posted. The rest, hmm.... no comment.

Another batch should be arriving next week. If the second batch turns out another disappointment, then I am very very very certain that no more online shopping for me in the future. The second batch cost a little more, with the higher price that I am paying, hopefully I can get something within my expectation! The least is to MATCH what has been shown in the pictures online. Pray Pray Pray!

Ballet Class

Ballerinas are ready for their Ballet Class

Any reason to resist this beautiful young lady?

The Princess' Signature Pose

Ballet Class commences gracefully

Ballet Pose No. 5. Look at my princesses with their lazy arms. :P

Ms. Toh said : Point, Point, Point!

This is actually a very rare occasion whereby parents get to view the process of the lesson. The glass door is shaded with a lace curtain as you can see in the photos, and we only get to see shadows of these young ballerinas hopping in the class. :P This is my first time viewing the whole process of the class PLUS hearing Ms. Toh shouting "Clarisse, behind your JieJie" "Clarisse, follow JieJie" "Clarisse, No, No, No... Behind your JieJie" opps... I hope Ms. Toh can cope with this little girl. Clarisse tends to get very excited especially when the music played, she would start to hop and jump and run OUT of her designated line.

No BaoBei for Little C

On the first week of school, all the after-school lessons are back on schedule - BaoBei, Ballet & Shichida.

Little C attended her first Chinese Trial Class at BaoBei on 2nd January 2013, and she happily entered the classroom with Big C, no tears no tantrums. So, I was so eager to pay the fees upon seeing Little C's "enthusiasm". However, LiHong LauShi told me to pay the fees one week later because Little C is entitled for 3 days trial class.

The next day, Big & Little C are both ready for BaoBei again. Upon the doorstep to BaoBei, Little C began to bawl and refused to enter the center. So, Kakak and Little C went home. (*If it was me, I would have tried to make her stay!*)

The following day, once again, I told Kakak to coax Little C and I reminded Big C not to leave her little sister alone, walk into the classroom hand in hand with Little C, and I reminded Little C to join her JieJie to BaoBei. ALL THREE AGREED! Unfortunately, it didn't work. Once again, Little C bawled like a baby, gasping every breathe to fight with Kakak.

I thought, well, Little C is still young. I can always start her chinese enrichment class next year since she is not ready. So, I have decided to adhere to Little C's wish - "MaMa, I don't want to go BaoBei, I want to stay at home" FOR NOW.

However, Little C's resistance to BaoBei had influenced Big C at the same time. On the second week, Chloe said the same to me "MaMa, I want to stay home with Little C. I don't want to go BaoBei." I turned down Big C's demand in rage, and Big C started to cry, and she said to me "MaMa, You are Naughty!"

*sigh* Is Big C jealous of Little C for being able to stay home to skip BaoBei while She has to abide my desire of her attending Chinese Class? All along, she was inclined to attend BaoBei because she gets to put on her nice dresses and shoes. But, why this time, she was reluctant to go.

I didn't force her to attend the class but I told her that I was not happy about her skipping class. I told Big C that it is not right to skip class. I had a simple and small talk with Big C in that same evening, and she consented to "dress up like a princess" to attend BaoBei 3 times a week.

"MaMa, Little C naughty a? Never go BaoBei" Big C tried to pick on Little C

"No, Baby. Little C is still a baby. She will have to go Baobei later just like Jiejie"

"MaMa, Little C a baby a? I am a Jie Jie. I am good girl." Big C said proudly.

YES, No BaoBei for Little C.

As for Ballet, Little C managed it well on her first lesson. However, the Ballet teacher was a little worried that Little C might not be able to understand instruction at this age. But, she is "OK" to have Little C in the class.

It was a free trial class, but PaPa & MaMa are certain that Little is capable to manage the lesson. Her enthusiasm for ballet have very well demonstrated two weeks ago when she insisted to join the class with her JieJie. Also, this little sleepy head can never get up for any activities when she is deeply asleep. But when I mentioned the word "Ballet", she would sprang up from her sleep and get Kakak to dress her!

When I reminded Big C to practice how to hop, Little C overheard us, and ran towards me and said "MaMa, Little C can hop like ballet." Hahaha...She wanted to show-off to me that she can hop too just like JieJie.

Well, Two Baby Ballerinas in the making. :P

As for Shichida, lessons carry on as usual. Looking forwards for new challenges for both Cs.

Who is the Big Sister?

Who is the Big Sister? Big C or Little C?
Big C was noising about her tiredness and insisted to "lie down".
Little C said, "Come! Come, lie down on my lap." :)

4. Fold in the 1/3 Dry Mixture and butter into the wet mixture. Alternate the dry mixtures and butter until the batter is mixed well. BUT do not over mix.

Remarks :

2. Remember to fill the cup FULL in order to achieve a round and puffy top.

3. I think can cut down the Chocolate Chips? But the children love it. :P The next time I will cut down to 3/4 cup.

A New Episode of Chloe's Growing Up Timeline

Emblem of the Class

Class Timetable

 Playtime before Class commence.
Hooray, Big C takes the initiative to join in her new friends on her first day of K1. My little girl is rather shy and quiet though. She listened and observed but did not speak a words to her new friends. Well, it's her FIRST day with her NEW friends in a New Class. I am happy that she is keeping herself away from the crowd. Thumbs UP! Baby! Muak!

The Class commence.
Class Teacher : Ms. Saw Koon

"Choo Choo the Big Train is going down the track now!"
Children in the line, ready for a toilet break.

Yeah. Big C is the shortest in the class. I am sorry, baby.
You might have to stay short and cute like MaMa. :P
So, Baby, EXERCISE & GOOD DIET will help you grow Taller!!

Oh, First day of K1, the cutie little girl before Chloe, little Jaz, turned to Chloe and said, "Hey, don't touch me. I am not your friend!" LOL, so cute just like when I was little.

The tall little girl at the back of Chloe, on the other hand, hold Chloe's hand tight and said, "Chloe, follow me. Come Come!" Her name is Clarissa, hehehe.. ya.. one alphabet away from Little C.
