Phuket Club Med

MaMa planned for this holiday months ago, and Chloe & Clarisse were looking forwards for the holiday. I love to have a hassle-free holiday with my children and of course a short flight to getaway from the town, that's why I chose Club Med Phuket, which is 1-1/2 hr away by flight.

Here are some of the photos taken using my smartphone. I shall update some other photos from my camera when I am free later. Anyhow, there weren't much photos taken, you know, with children and a hubby who is not fond of "gadget", we don't expect much photo memory. :P Hahaha...take the chance to complain again.

These are some photo taken at the Kata Beach.

Even though it was the girls and my first trip to Phuket, we didn't explore Phuket for any sightseeings, not even the TOWN. We decided to spend our holiday within Club Med for the 4 days 3 nights, which I am glad we did.

I must say Club Med Phuket is a very child-friendly resort with adequate children facilities to keep them entertained. The best part is Babysitting service is available too *of course for a fee*.

Club Med also organizes many different activities daily cater for the children. Chloe loves to the Mini Club, the designated area just for children age 6 months to 12 years old. Program such as Giant Waterslide, Pool Splashing, Picasso Session, Tie-Dye T-Shirt, Cooking etc. I would love to go back there again when the girls are older so that they can enjoy all these programs INDEPENDENTLY.

I am not sure about PaPa, but I am sure the girls and myself enjoyed our holiday there EXCEPT a few things..... Chloe had food poisoning on her last dinner. I suspect it was due to the watermelon. I was horrified when Chloe vomited 5 times in a night. Poor girl, in the end, PaPa sent her to the resort's infirmary where they sent in doctor from the town to treat Chloe. Medicine was prescribed to stop the vomiting. Luckily that her vomiting stopped after one dosage of the prescription. She looked fine and sunshine the next morning. *phew*.

PaPa made a number of complains to the GM, and the only thing we received was APOLOGY. Hahaha... PaPa was too lenient, he didn't scream at the GM. If I were the one, I am sure I would be the emotional ferocious tigress roaring upon the GM's face. Come on! We paid exclusive price for the food and facilities, and they should be very careful with the food that they served to clients and upkeep the facilities to ensure a memorable holidays for us.

By the way, the GOs there are nice and friendly, definitely not the local staffs  such as the room services staffs, cleaners, waitresses. They all look angry MOST of the times, I hardly see them smiling. Only on rare occasion, when the adorable Clarisse threw tantrum which seemingly cute to them, and I could see their little smile on their face. Otherwise, don't hope for it. But I didn't let these people ruin my holiday, I chose to ignore them. :P

EXCEPT for the minor food poisoning incident, the food served was actually up to fine cuisine standard. I would say yummylicious is up to 88%. Chloe and Clarisse's good appetite is a good judge, especially their spaghetti, they were cooked to the perfect texture. I had the best Steak Burger in Club Med, the steak was insanely juicy. SLURP! Papa was not able to resist the scrumptious roast lamb, and he had two big portions of it which resulted indigestion for the next two days. Due to the indigestion, he was having his "PMS" yelling at Clarisse and MaMa for trivial matters. Geezz...

The girls had fun at the Mini Club, the Beach, the Pool. The girls love to stay in the pool. MaMa was rather easy on the F&B choice for the girls, therefore the girls get to enjoy all the COLD drinks, Chocolates, Ice-creams, Desserts. Hahaha... It was a restriction-free holiday for them, just a little nags from PaPa here and there once in a while. The girls were also lucky to catch a circus show on the first day of our arrival, and they stayed up for the night shows every day  until 11pm.

Overall, it was a great family trip with minor hiccups. Most importantly, I am happy to see how my girls enjoyed themselves during their stay in the Club Med, and this is all I ask for.

My 33rd Birthday

I didn't intend to hide my age but honestly just like what Hubby said before, after 30, you will somehow lost count of your age. I find it rather true, because I didn't know my ACTUAL age until my family members cruelly reminded me that I am already 33! Hahaha..I always know I am 30+, but it is getting more and more difficult to remember the exact age. Perhaps, I subconsciously trying to hide my age from...MYSELF! Hehehe...

Anyway, I had many warm wishes from friends and family members.
THANK YOU, ALL.
MUAKS

The first gift that I received for my birthday is the Fujifilm INSTAX 210 from my beloved brother. Here are some of the photos taken using the Polaroid Camera. They turned out quite nice, however, check these photos, the film cost RM 3 EACH and you cannot get a perfect picture MOST of the time since we cannot afford multiple shots like the Digital Camera. But, nice nice nice! Like what my brother said, NON-PERFECT pictures are the BEST pictures because it is so REAL. Don't you think so?

Look at the bottom left photo, the brown patch was Chloe's fingerprint. She was too excited to see the film printed out from the Camera and she quickly snatched it before we can reach for it. She attempt to fold it, and ta-da the brown fingerprints on the photo.

The second present that I got is from Hubby. Well, I must emphasize THE GIFT WAS NOT VOLUNTARILY given to me. I have to ASK for it - My new Samsung Galaxy S3. You know? I had to bargain for it. He offered me the present with an exchange of my Iphone 4 OR a Prada Shoes on his B-day. *Faint* How nice, right? Anyway, he was lucky. I manage to sign up a Raya Package with Maxis for RM799 with a Min. Monthly Bill of RM98. LUCKY YOU!

Well, he is not SO bad after all. Before our Family Trip. I happened to spot on the turtle shell frame sunglasses. He WILLINGLY pay for it without a single complain or bargain for an exchange. :P THANK YOU, PaPa!

Then, I got a Pretty Bouquet from my in-laws. So sweet, right? Of course, birthday wishes via SMS and also a birthday card signed off by my In-laws. This round, everyone in the office didn't make any guess who is the sender because my in-laws sent me flowers on my last birthday too. So, everyone in the office knows that this beautiful bouquet is from my ROMANTIC in-laws, NOT from my husband. Hahaha.... My female colleagues are all very jealous of me because I have such sweet in-laws. THANKS, PA & MUMMY!

I also had a red packet wishes from my mom and a free hair treatment from my beloved sister. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I had a simple dinner together with my family and hubby, and the celebration of my 33rd birthday ended with a Red Velvet Cake and birthday songs from my two princesses - Chloe and Clarisse.

P&J Hari Raya Celebration

This is my girl Chloe - first time in Baju Kurung - to attend the Hari Raya Celebration @ P&J. She is so cute. MaMa wanted to capture more photos in different poses. Unfortunately, this little girl was totally not in the mood to take anymore photos. After two shots, she said "enough". My Mom saw her and took out her phone, "Chloe, come, take photo". Chloe replied, "No, Grandma! I take photo already." refused to pose. :(
